Amt Headingley Rugby Stadium To Host Rugby League Games

A New Stadium for Leeds Rhinos

AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium to Host Rugby League Games

Headingley Stadium, a complex in Headingley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, will soon be known as AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium, thanks to a new sponsorship deal. The stadium is home to the Leeds Rhinos, a professional rugby league club that has played its home games there since 1997.

The new stadium will feature a two-sided stand housing common facilities, and will be linked to the existing Headingley Carnegie Stadium, which is home to the Yorkshire County Cricket Club. The stadium will have a capacity of 21,000, and will be used for both rugby league and rugby union matches.

The Leeds Rhinos are one of the most successful rugby league clubs in England, having won the Super League Grand Final eight times. The club has also won the Challenge Cup on 13 occasions, and the League Leaders' Shield on four occasions.

The new stadium is expected to be completed in time for the 2023 rugby league season. It will be a major boost for the Leeds Rhinos, and will help to ensure that the club remains one of the top teams in England.
