The victory keeps England's hopes of reaching the Nations League finals alive, and they will now face Switzerland in their final group game on Sunday.

England head coach Hege Riise hailed her team's never-say-die attitude after the game.

"I'm so proud of the players," Riise said. "We showed great character to come back from 2-0 down and win the game.

"We knew it was going to be a tough game, but we were determined to get the victory. We never gave up, and we got our reward in the end."
